Posture Perfect - Day 5

​Hey there,
Feeling healthy in your mind, body, and soul?
I’m so glad we’ve made it to the end of this challenge! It hasn’t been easy, but I sure am feeling a lot better. And I’ve saved the best for last!
What comes to mind when you hear this word? This is a subject I’ve struggled with quite a bit in the past, and I have to admit… It hasn’t been easy. I’ve always found inner confidence so important, which is why I went through big challenges to try and achieve it. Are you ready to do some of the exercises I found with me for day 5?
And, of course, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t find a way to achieve this through good posture. I’m sorry! I just can’t seem to help it! :p Call me silly, but I’m a firm believer that your body posture projects your confidence. And if you look confident, you feel confident. Are you with me?
Stand confidently, keep your legs aligned with your shoulders. Distribute your weight on both legs equally and roll your shoulders back. Imagine someone is pulling a string connected to the top of your head and feel your chest open up. Gently tuck your shoulder blades back and take a few deep breaths.
Now… Let’s check in on your mindset. How do you feel standing like this? Are you confident? Strong? Calm? Assured? Powerful? Curious? Kind? What kind of emotions does this posture evoke in you? Who are you in this pose?
Feel into what this powerful, upright posture means to you, and write it down. Then, summarize what you wrote down in a single word or sentence. Put that up somewhere you can see it often! Remember it throughout the day.
